Chasing Gold, Casting Dreams - England’s U18 Next Gen
Established to provide a platform for gifted young fishers across England, our team has a proud heritage in competitive youth fly fishing, with notable accolades including a podium finish at the 2008 Youth Fly Fishing Championships.
After a period of dormancy, we are delighted to relaunch the team, stronger and more dedicated than ever. Revitalised with a fresh sense of purpose, our aim is to inspire, support and equip the next generation of fly fishing talent, offering exceptional training opportunities and the chance to represent England on the international stage. We remain steadfast in upholding the traditions of fly fishing, while embracing innovation to adapt to the evolving landscape of youth sports.
We are not solely defined by competition. Our ethos places strong emphasis on mentorship, environmental stewardship and lifelong learning. Through fly fishing, our young anglers build confidence, resilience and a respect for nature that extends far beyond the riverbank.
With unwavering support from our dedicated coaches, partners and the wider angling community, we are cultivating not only champions, but ambassadors for the sport.

“Fly fishing is more than a sport – it’s a challenge to grow, learn new skills, and immerse yourself in the outdoors, from quiet streams to rugged shores, in any weather.”
