The England U18 River and Bank Fly Fishing Team is proud to represent the nation at the 22nd FIPS-Mouche World Youth Fly Fishing Championship, taking place in Idaho Falls, USA from 12–19 July 2025.
This prestigious international fly fishing event brings together the best young anglers from across the globe, offering an unparalleled opportunity for competition, learning, and cultural exchange. The England Youth Team will be competing in one of the most exciting and challenging fly fishing environments in the world.
100 points per fish + 20 points per cm of length
Rainbow, Brown, Brook & Cutthroat Trout, Mountain Whitefish, Arctic Grayling
Catch and release, barbless hooks, with both wading and boat fishing
This format encourages ethical angling practices and tests not just luck, but consistency and refined technique.
